At the core of Carpio Media is Juan Carpio, known to many as “El Cuy.” A man whose love for flight and visual storytelling has taken him from the cockpit of commercial airliners to the rooftops of New York real estate.

With over two decades in aviation, including roles as an Airline Captain and Instructor with more than 9,000 flight hours, Juan transitioned from the skies to drones in 2018, bringing with him an unmatched command of precision, timing, and technical mastery. His early work in FPV (First Person View) flying set the foundation for a deeper journey into photography, creative media, and real estate visual production.

Though Carpio Media has worked with major media networks like ABC and ESPN, Juan’s passion today lies in real estate—capturing homes, commercial spaces, and industrial properties with the same discipline and artistry he honed in high-pressure broadcast environments.

As CEO and founder, Juan remains deeply involved in every shoot—handling photography, piloting drones, and guiding creative vision on-site. His presence isn’t symbolic—it’s hands-on, passionate, and personal.
